St. Gallen Fair in Sabbioneta
The San Gallo Fair in Sabbioneta is back with many appointments. From Thursday 13 to Monday 17 October, the usual Luna Park will be held in Piazza d'Armi, with attractions for children and teenagers of all ages.
The event, organized by the Municipality of Sabbioneta and Pro Loco, includes Street Food in Piazza Ducale from Friday evening and throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday, with a selection of quality food, ranging from the local Emilian fried dumplings, to fish fried seafood, from Piedmontese to Roman meat with arrosticini and porchetta, passing through sweets, craft beer and Thai ethnic food.
The evenings in Piazza Ducale will be animated by the entertainment of the local musicians involved, with a musical panorama designed for all ages, from the very young to families.
Friday 14 from 8 pm to 10 pm: Ken Ciro Trio, performance by the "Casa della Musica" Association of Breda Cisoni - rock, reggae, grunge and unpublished repertoire
Friday 14 from 22 to 00: DJ Maro - commercial dance music
Saturday 15 from 20 to 00: DJ Joy and DJ Bero - afro cosmic music, electric funky, electronic dance Sunday 16 from 19 to 21: "Numeri Primi Acustic Duo" - voice by Laura Lodi Rizzini and guitar by Enrico Ampollini
Sunday 16 from 21 to 00: DJ Germano Motta - music from the 90s and 2000s New at the San Gallo Fair 2022 is “Palazzo Divino”. In the courtyard of Palazzo Ducale (access from Via Pozzetti, between Infopoint and Palazzo Ducale) it will be possible to taste good wine from important wineries in northern Italy (among others Franciacorta, Valpolicella, Lambrusco, Oltrepò Pavese, Colli Morenici).
Saturday 15 from 14 to 18;
Sunday 16 from 10 to 12.30 and from 14 to 18.
Like every year, Sunday is the most awaited day. Together with Luna Park and Street Food, a hobby market and an exhibition of agricultural vehicles, with vintage agricultural and sports machinery will be set up in the streets of the center from the morning. In the afternoon, for the first time, the theater company “Silence Teatro” will perform in Sabbioneta.
In the streets of the historic center the show "Come Angeli del Cielo" will come to life, when silent angels will create a magical link between urban spaces and artistic experience. Throughout the duration of the San Gallo Fair it will be possible to visit the Ideal City of Vespasiano Gonzaga with a single ticket and the exhibition "Sabbionetan Renaissance" set up in the Palazzo Ducale.
