PERSPECTIV - Association of Historic Theatres in Europe General Assembly / Conference “Using the Past to get to the Future”
Next PERSPECTIV General Assembly and Conference will be held in the magnificent atmosphere of the Teatro all’Antica, first European Renaissance permanent Theatre. The Municipality of Sabbioneta and the Mantua and Sabbioneta World Heritage Office will be promoting and supporting the event together with Perspectiv - Association of Historic Theatres in Europe under the auspices of our Regional Government for Lombardy and other European and Governmental Bodies .
From October 6th to October 9th, a few days in the Italian Autumnal still sunny mood to talk about the future of our theatres, with the representatives of most of the European and nvited experts. European Theatres will have the opportunity to meet again in presence for the first time since the last 2019 General Assembly/Conference in Hanau (Germany).
Participants will be invited to visit and discover some of the most astonishing Italian theatres in Mantua (Teatro Scientifico del Bibiena), in Parma (Teatro Regio and Teatro Farnese) and in Modena (Teatro comunale Pavarotti - Freni and Teatro San Carlo). Guests will have the opportunity of travelling through the Food Valley along the Po River to taste some of the most well known Italian wines and food, discovering the many still surviving small historic theatres spread all over our fluvial territory. Participants will be enjoying Sabbioneta, the Ideal Renaissance town, bulit by the Duke Vespasiano Gonzaga right in the mid of 16th Century.
