Day against violence against women
On the occasion of the Day against violence against women, the Municipality of Sabbioneta organizes three initiatives to remember the importance of combating all forms of gender-based violence.
On Tuesday 22 November, at 18:30 at the Municipal Library of Sabbioneta, the "Social-aperitif" appointment will be held, meeting with Dr. Maria Rosaria Palmigiano, psychologist-psychotherapist specializing in criminology, and Paolo Montanari, conductor and speaker of Radio Circuito 29, which will be followed by light refreshments.
On Saturday 26 November, in the widening of via Santuario, the inauguration of the red bench for the elimination of violence against women will take place at 15:00, in collaboration with the "Scarpetta rossa" Association.
Sunday 27 November, at 16:00, the Aula Magna of Palazzo Forti will host the show "Carezze", a performative reading against violence against women by Teatro Magro. Furthermore, the Municipality of Sabbioneta adheres to the worldwide campaign promoted by Soroptomist International of Italy "Orange the world in 16 days 2022. Let's color the world orange against violence against women" and to the "Read the signs" campaign by illuminating the facade of Palazzo Ducale from 25 November to 10 December.
