CAMMINAMANTOVA - Ciclotour Arginelli di Sabbioneta

Let's go back to Sabbioneta by bicycle, this time to discover the area around the "ideal city" of Vespasiano Gonzaga through the naturalistic path of the district embankments, in the company of the Amici dell'Ambiente Association. It is a defensive work dating back to the twelfth century, then completed in the sixteenth century and modified with the raising in the nineteenth century. A privileged observation point to better understand the agricultural landscape and the dense hydrographic network where the profile of Sabbioneta stands out. The circular route touches the hamlets of Villa Pasquali, Ponteterra, Vigoreto and Breda Cisoni for a length of 19 km. with descriptive stops. Following, guided tour of Sabbioneta. Program: h. 8:30 am departure from Mantua, P.le Ragazzi del '99 (near the Stadium) with a private bus equipped with a bicycle trolley. Arrival in Sabbioneta and start of the Arginelli cycle tour - h. About 9:30. Stop for refreshment along the way. h. 12:30 return to Sabbioneta for the lunch break, basket with gastronomic specialties by the Pasticceria Atena and welcome at the garden of Palazzo Forti. h. About 2.30 pm: start of the guided tour including the Doge's Palace and the "Sabbionetan Renaissance" exhibition, the Garden Palace with the Gallery of the Ancients, the Teatro all'Antica and the Synagogue.
